Home & house moves

Do you move houses and flats anywhere in the UK?

Yes — one-bed flats to full family houses, right across the country. A house with a drive and a top-floor flat with a shared stairwell are planned differently, but both get a survey, protection throughout, and furniture dismantled and rebuilt.

Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?

We do — beds, wardrobes, flat-pack and anything that needs breaking down to move safely, rebuilt at the other end. Blankets, straps and corner protection are standard, and floors and doorframes are protected at both properties.

Can you pack for us?

Yes. We can pack the whole home, just the fragile and awkward items, or drop cartons and materials so you can do it yourself. Everything is packed to a labelled inventory, and we can unpack and take the packaging away when you are settled.

What happens if my chain slips?

Clean, secure storage bridges the gap between a move-out and a move-in, with an inventory taken as your goods go in. Move-and-store folds it all into one booking with one team, so nothing is handled twice unnecessarily.

Business & office moves

Do you move offices out of hours?

Regularly. Most business moves run in the evening, overnight or across a weekend so your team returns to a working office. We plan the move around your trading, not the other way round.

Can you handle the IT?

Yes — desks and workstations decommissioned, kit labelled and crated by user or department, then set back up so people plug in and get on. Where you have your own IT provider, we coordinate around them.

Can a business move be phased?

Yes. Larger relocations often run in phases so one part of the business stays live while another moves. We work to a floor-plan and a crate-labelling scheme so everything lands where it belongs.

Man & van and small moves

What is the difference between man and van and a full removal?

Man and van is a driver and a right-sized van for a smaller job — a room, a few items, a studio, a collection. A full removal brings a larger crew, more protection and a survey. Tell us what is moving and we will point you at the right one.

Do you move single, awkward items?

Yes — a sofa, a fridge-freezer, a wardrobe up two flights. The heavy and awkward ones are where technique and a second pair of hands matter, and where the item and the walls both get protected.

Can you do a collection and delivery?

Often. A marketplace pickup, a piece of furniture from a shop, a delivery across counties — give us both addresses and what is moving and we will sort it. It does not have to be a house move to be worth a van.

Coverage & long-distance

Are you genuinely national?

Yes. London and the South East is our busiest patch, and we are honest about that, but we run moves across the Midlands, the North, the South West, the East, and up into Scotland and Wales. Long-distance moves are planned as proper trips.

How do long-distance moves work?

As a dedicated load — your goods straight through — or consolidated with other moves on the same corridor when volume and dates suit. Which one fits depends on how much is moving and how flexible your dates are; the quote sets it out.

Do you move to and from rural addresses?

Yes. Villages, farmhouses and addresses without a tidy postcode are part of the work. We check access ahead of the day — lane widths, gateways, where a larger van can turn — so the crew is not caught out on arrival.

European & international moves

Which countries do you move to?

Our European arm covers removals from the UK to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, with a dedicated page for each route. Moves further afield can be arranged on request, but Europe is where we run regular, planned road removals.

Who handles the customs paperwork?

We do. A move to the EU now needs a customs declaration and a detailed inventory, and used household effects may qualify for relief when transferring your main residence. We prepare the declarations and transit documents and tell you what to provide.

Can I share a European load?

Often, yes. If your volume does not fill a vehicle and your dates are flexible, a shared load runs your goods consolidated with other moves on the same corridor. A larger or time-critical move goes dedicated.

Quotes & booking

Why do you not show prices?

Because an honest removals price depends on your specifics — volume, distance, access, stairs, parking, storage. A headline figure sight unseen is a guess. Send the details and you will get a clear, itemised written quote for your actual move.

How do I get a quote and how quickly do you reply?

Send the details through the quote form — what is moving, both addresses, and anything that shapes the day. We read every enquiry and reply promptly by email during working hours. For bigger or cross-country moves we arrange a survey first.

Is the quote binding?

The written quote is based on the information and the survey, and it holds unless the move changes materially — a lot more to move than described, or access that turns out very different. If something changes, we talk it through before the day rather than springing it on you.
