House removals, handled with care
Full house and flat moves anywhere in the UK — a one-bed flat, a growing family home, a downsize by the coast. Surveyed first, protected throughout, and driven by a crew who do this every day.
A house move is the one nearly everyone does, and the one most likely to go wrong when it is rushed. We start with a house removals survey — in person or over video — so nobody is guessing at the volume, the access or the awkward pieces on the morning. From there the day is a plan, not an improvisation.
What we do on the day
The van and crew are sized to the property, not to a fixed package. We protect floors, carpets and doorframes, blanket and strap the furniture, and take apart the beds, wardrobes and flat-pack that need it — then rebuild them where they go. Fragile and antique items are wrapped and packed properly, and the load goes on to a labelled inventory so nothing wanders off.
Houses and flats are different jobs
A house with a drive loads differently from a third-floor flat with a shared stairwell and a permit bay. We plan each on its own terms — booking lifts, protecting communal areas, and working out where a Luton can actually park — so a flat move is not a scramble and a big-house move is not chaos. Access at both ends is half the job.
Packing, storage and the wider move
Want us to pack? We can do the whole home, the breakables only, or drop materials so you can crack on — see packing. Dates not lining up? Clean, secure storage bridges the gap. And if you are heading further afield, the same crews handle European removals.
How quotes work
The price comes from the volume, the distance and the access — that is it. No headline figure that quietly balloons on the day. Tell us about the move through the quote form, we will survey where it is needed, and you will get a clear, itemised written quote you can actually rely on.
House removals — questions
What does a full house removal include?
A survey first — in person or by video — so the crew and van match the property. On the day we protect floors and doorways, wrap and blanket the furniture, take apart beds and wardrobes and rebuild them at the other end, and load to a plan. Packing and storage fold in if you want them.
Do you move flats as well as houses?
Yes — a top-floor flat with a shared stairwell and permit parking is a different job from a house with a drive, and we plan it that way. Lifts get booked, communal areas get protected, and we work out where the van can actually sit before the morning.
Can you pack for us?
We can pack the whole home, just the breakables, or drop boxes and materials so you can do the rest yourself. Everything is packed to a labelled inventory, and we can unpack and take the packaging away at the far end.
What if the chain slips and the dates change?
Common, and not a problem. Clean, secure storage bridges the gap between a move-out and a move-in, with an inventory taken as your goods go in. Move-and-store folds into a single booking with one team, so nothing gets handled twice unnecessarily.
How do you work out the price?
From the volume, the distance, and the access at both ends — stairs, lifts, parking, a long carry. That is why the survey matters and why we do not headline a figure. Once we have seen the move, you get a clear, itemised written quote.
Moving house?
Tell us the property, both addresses and roughly what is moving. We will survey where it helps and come back with a clear, itemised written quote.
